Pink House The Painted Lady central to this nostalgic, late 19th century
scene, is built in the Queen Anne style- a bit ostentatious beside her earlier
neighbors, but obviously showing pride of ownership (note the elderly gentleman
out front, the owner, pontificating to his friend). The unusual color palette
carries through the painting, reflecting our oft-times forgotten forefathers'
daring when it came to decoration!
